Tequila Chillies with white chocolate recipe on Sweets Made Simple

Kitty Hope and Mark Greenwood makes tequila chillies with white chocolate and sliver tequila on Sweets Made Simple.

Kitty says: “Chilli and chocolate may seem like rather odd bed fellows, but in this recipe they really are the most dazzling treats. Soaking the chillies in tequila takes out the sting, leaving you to enjoy them with a white chocolate ganache filling. When making the white chocolate ganache filling, stick the chocolate in a bowl over a pan of warm water, but don’t let the bottom of the bowl touch the water and don’t let the water touch the chocolate.”

The ingredients are: 8 mild or spicy green chillies, 3 tbsp silver tequila, 1 tbsp double cream, 350g white chocolate, chopped, ½ lime, zest and a squeeze of juice only, 25g unsalted butter, chopped and 1 tsp flaked sea salt.
