James Martin and Ronnie Murray served up a delicious steamed sponge pudding with marmalade and thyme custard on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 200g butter, softened, 200g caster sugar, 4 eggs, 200g self-raising flour, 1 tbs vanilla bean paste, 1 orange zest and 150ml marmalade.
For the custard: 8 egg yolks, 75g caster sugar, 300ml milk, 300ml double cream and Orange juice from above.
