John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a tasty turkey crown with spiced roast root vegetables on John and Lisa’s Christmas Kitchen.
The ingredients are: 4 parsnips, peeled and halved , 4 large carrots, peeled and halved , 4 onions, peeled and cut into quarters , ½ a butternut squash, peeled and cut into large chunks , 1 tbsp allspice , 2kg turkey crown, giblets removed, 100g salted butter, softened, 1 – 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 bay leaves , 25g rosemary , 25g sage, plus extra chopped for serving , 30ml mild or light olive oil , 1 head of cauliflower, broken into florets , ½ cup of water , Sea salt and black pepper and A small bunch of parsley, roughly chopped.
