Mary Berry served up a tasty cauliflower soup with double cream, nutmeg, mustard and chives on Mary at 90: A Lifetime of Cooking.
The ingredients are: 750g cauliflower, 55g unsalted butter, 2 onions, roughly chopped, 750ml chicken or vegetable stock, 150ml pouring double cream, 3 tbsp freshly chopped chives, plus extra to garnish, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, pinch of grated nutmeg, salt and freshly ground black pepper.
