Elliott Grover served up tasty summer vegetable tarts with egg yolk and goat’s curd on This Morning.
The ingredients for the puff pastry base: 1 sheet all-butter puff pastry, rolled to 3mm thick, 1 egg yolk, for brushing and Sea salt flakes.
For the whipped goat’s cheese: 150g soft goat’s cheese, 50ml double cream, Finely grated zest of ½ lemon and Cracked black pepper.
For the summer vegetables – choose 4 or 5 types: Baby carrots, Peas or broad beans, Asparagus spears, Courgettes, yellow or green and Baby fennel.
4 very fresh, free range egg yolks, kept separate in small dishes or ramekins.
To garnish: Micro herbs, Olive oil, Sea salt and Lemon zest.
