Ronnie Murray served up tasty hanger steak with pickled walnut puree and burnt onions on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 2 hanger steaks trimmed and cooked medium rare preferably over charcoal, A handful of watercress and 100g Berkswell or parmesan for shaving.
For the burnt onion petals: 40g shallots finely diced, 40g baby capers, 40g cornichons sliced, 10g chopped tarragon, 10g chopped parsley and 100g good olive oil.
For the pickled Walnut Puree: 1 jar of picked walnuts.
