Nisha Katona served up a tasty vegetable soup with dumplings (little sparrows) on Nisha Katona’s Home Kitchen.
The ingredients are: 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 2 cubes frozen crushed garlic or 6 garlic cloves, crushed, 2 large tomatoes, roughly chopped, 2 carrots, peeled and finely sliced, 1 parsnip, peeled and finely sliced, 1 tbsp paprika, 3 chicken stock cubes, crumbled, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 100g frozen peas and small handful parsley, leaves picked and chopped.
For the dumplings: 125g plain flour pinch of salt and 1 egg.
