Sarv and Disha Patel Detroit-style pizza recipe on Saturday Kitchen

Sarv and Disha Patel served up a tasty Detroit-style pizza on Saturday Kitchen.

The ingredients for the dough are: 225g strong white bread flour, 2g sugar, 3g fast-action dried yeast, 162.5g water, 8g salt and olive oil, for greasing.

For the tomato sauce: 400g Italian tomatoes, peeled and chopped, 1½ tsp onion powder, 1½ tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp dried oregano, 2 tsp chopped fresh flatleaf parsley, 2 tsp chopped fresh basil, sprinkle cracked black pepper, 1 garlic clove, crushed, sprinkle dried red chilli flakes, ½ tsp olive oil, 4g salt and 6.8g sugar.

For the toppings: 150g mozzarella or Monterey Jack, grated, 150g mature cheddar, grated, 150g pepperoni or sliced spicy salami, 120g burrata, 50g Parmesan, grated, 1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped and hot honey, for drizzling.
