Liam Charles showcased a delicious milkshake cake with banana sponge, cinnamon butter cream and chocolate drip on Junior Bake Off.
The ingredients for the banana sponge: 185g unsalted butter, 150g caster sugar, 40g light brown sugar, 210g self raising flour, ¼ tsp baking powder, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, ½ tsp ground nutmeg, 3 medium eggs, 1 banana, 45ml whole milk and 1 tsp vanilla extract.
For the butter cream: 250g unsalted butter, 500g icing sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 2 tbsp milk, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and Few drops of yellow food colouring.
For the chocolate drip: 125ml double cream and 100g dark chocolate, minimum 70% cocoa solids.
To decorate: 100s and 1000s
