Jamie Oliver served up a tasty pearl barley risotto with cider and broccoli on Jamie’s £1 Wonders and Money-Saving Meals.
The instruction are: 1 veg stock cube, 30g unsalted butter, 1 onion, 1 head of broccoli (375g), 300g pearl barley, 100ml dry cider, olive oil, 1 clove of garlic, ½ a bunch thyme (10g), 80g breadcrumbs, 20g shelled walnut halves, 30g Stilton cheese and 30g Cheddar cheese.
optional: extra virgin olive oil.
