Poppy O’Toole served up a refreshing slow cooker mulled wine for the festive season on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 1 x 75cl bottle of red wine (Malbec is recommended), 2 x 2cm strips of lemon zest, 2 x 7cm cinnamon sticks, 2–3 star anise, to taste, Good grating of nutmeg, About 100g golden caster sugar, to taste (depending on what wine you’ve used), 8 cloves, 1 orange, halved and 3–4 shots of brandy (optional).
