Jamie Oliver serve up tasty hasselback root veg and party skewers with jerk seasoning on Jamie Cooks Christmas.
The ingredients are: 2 large parsnips, 500g mixed-colour carrots, ¼ of a swede, 3 mixed-colour beetroots and 2 red onions.
For the festive jerk-inspired rub: 3 cloves of garlic, 3 shallots, 3 scotch bonnets, 3 fresh bay leaves, 1 tablespoon ground allspice, 1 level tablespoon ground cloves, 1 whole nutmeg, for grating, ½ a bunch of fresh thyme (15g), 1 bunch of fresh chives (20g), olive oil, 1 tablespoon runny honey, 3 tablespoons malt vinegar and 100ml golden rum.
