Mary Berry served up delicious floating islands with caramel on Mary’s Foolproof Dinners with Sara Davis.
The ingredients are: butter, for greasing, 600ml full-fat milk, 3 eggs, separated, 200g caster sugar, 1 tbsp cornflour and 2 tsp vanilla extract.
For the caramel: 25g caster sugar.
