Nadiya Hussain served up tasty emergency halloumi burritos with rice, cheddar cheese and pickled onions on Nadiya’s Cook Once Eat Twice.
The ingredients are: vegetable oil, for frying, 1 garlic clove, crushed, 1 onion, finely chopped, 1 tsp salt, 2 blocks halloumi, cut into large cubes, 1 lime, juice only, 2 tbsp chilli sauce (optional), 2 tsp smoked paprika, 2 tsp ground cumin, 4 large tortilla wraps and 250g packet microwave rice, cooked and cooled.
To serve: pickled red onions, 100g cheddar, grated and 2 spring onions, trimmed and thinly sliced.
