John Torode autumnal sausage and mushroom bake with toast and butternut squash recipe

John Torode served up a tasty autumnal sausage and mushroom bake with toast and butternut squash on this morning.

Ingredients are: 1 small butternut squash, peeled, halved and deseeded, 20ml vegetable oil, 8 large sausages, 2 red onions, cut into wedges, 6 cloves garlic, squashed and peeled, 200g button chestnut mushrooms, 3 tomatoes, cut into wedges, 150ml chicken stock, or stock cube in water, Salt and Freshly ground black pepper.

To serve: Large thick pieces of toast and butter, Small bag watercress.
