Dr Amir Khan aloo saag spinach and potato curry recipe on Lorraine

Dr Amir Khan served up a tasty aloo saag spinach and potato curry on today’s episode of Lorraine.

The ingredients are: 800g baby or new potatoes – halved skin on, boil in water until semi soft (approx. 12-15mins).

In a blender add: 2 bunches fresh spinach (you can use frozen), 2 peeled garlic cloves, A fresh chilli (optional), A peeled and halved white onion and A pinch of salt.

A tablespoon of olive oil or ghee if you have it 1 tsp cumin seeds, Itsp cumin powder 2 tsp garam masala, 1 tsp turmeric powder, ½ tsp chilli flakes, 1 tablespoon of garlic/ginger paste (shop bought) and 2 pinches salt.
