Jamie Oliver served up a delicious creamy rippled strawberry and vanilla rice pudding with the quickest strawberry jam on Jamie: What to Eat This Week.
The ingredients are: 200 g pudding rice, 1.2 litres organic whole milk, 2 heaped tablespoons golden caster sugar, 1 vanilla pod and 1 heaped tablespoon creme fraiche.
For the jam; 1 kg strawberries, 150 g golden caster sugar, 150 ml Pimm’s, 1 bay leaf and 1 orange.
To Serve: a few wild strawberries and 50 g ready-made meringue.
optional: a handful of edible flowers.
