Marcus Wareing served up tasty minute steak sandwiches with a dry spiced rub and herby green Provence inspired sauce on Marcus Wareing Simply Provence.
The ingredients for the dry rub are: 1 tbsp fennel seeds, toasted, 1 tbsp cumin seeds, toasted, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tsp smoked paprika and 1 tbsp herbes de Provence.
For the green sauce: 1 white onion, 1 tbsp capers, small bunch fresh tarragon, small bunch fresh parsley, small bunch fresh oregano, 2 tbsp olive oil, splash white wine vinegar, sea salt and freshly ground black pepper.
For the sandwich: 1 white baguette, 2 minute steaks (thin cut steaks) and 2–3 tbsp olive oil, for drizzling.
