James Martin frangipane tart with Irish black butter recipe on James Martin’s Saturday Morning

James Martin served up delicious mini frangipane tarts with Irish black butter on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.

The ingredients are; Pastry are: 225g plain flour, 1 egg yolk and 125g butter, diced.

For the frangipane: 250g butter, softened, 125g caster sugar, 250g ground almonds and 5 eggs.

To top: 25g toasted flaked almonds.

To serve: Jar of black butter and clotted cream.
