Juliet Sear served up a delicious Birthday funfetti cake with soured cream on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 165g butter spread (e.g. Lurpak) or margarine of your choice, 35g light olive oil or sunflower oil , 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract, 200g caster sugar, 4 medium eggs, ½ tsp baking powder, ½ tsp sea salt, 250g self-raising flour, 65g soured cream, room temperature and 3-4 tbsp bake-stable funfetti, plus extra for decorating.
For the frosting: 500g unsalted butter, softened, 1kg icing sugar and 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract.
