James Martin serve up a delicious steamed Sponge pudding with orange, golden syrup and Whisky Custard on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 6 oz butter, softened, 4 ½ oz caster sugar, 3 large eggs, 2 tbsp milk, 1 orange, juice and zest, 6oz self-raising flour and 150ml golden syrup.
For the custard: 8 egg yolks, 75g caster sugar, 300ml milk, 300ml double cream and 50ml whisky.
