Rustie Lee served up a tasty Caribbean cottage pie with scotch bonnet chilli pepper on This Morning.

The ingredients for the filling are: Olive oil for frying, 500g beef mince , 1 onion, finely chopped, ½ scotch bonnet chilli, chopped, 2 cloves garlic, minced, 2 cups mixed vegetables (such as peas, carrots, corn), 1 red pepper, diced, 1 tin red kidney beans, drained and rinsed, 3 tsp thyme, 2 tsp allspice powder, 2 tsp salt , 2 tsp black pepper , 3 tbsp tomato paste and 500ml beef or vegetable stock.

For the mash topping: 225g sweet potatoes, peeled and diced, 450g potatoes, peeled and quartered, 4 tbsp butter, 3-4 tbsp milk, 225g strong cheese, grated, Salt and pepper, to taste.
