Nisha Katona served up tasty sweet and sticky chicken thighs with tomato ketchup, date molasses and coleslaw on This Morning.
The ingredients for the chicken thighs are: 2 heaped tbsp tomato puree, Juice of ½ lemon, 2 cloves garlic, crushed, 2 tbsp garam masala, 1 tbsp paprika, 1 tsp fenugreek powder, 125ml tomato ketchup, 4 tbsp runny honey and 8 skin-on boneless chicken thighs.
For the red cabbage coleslaw: 1 small red cabbage, quartered, cored and finely shredded, 2 small red onions, thinly sliced, 1 large red chilli, deseeded and finely sliced, 150g raisins, 1 bunch of fresh coriander, leaves and stalks roughly chopped, 4 tbsp salad dressing (see below) and Pinch of salt, to taste.
For the dressing: 100ml vegetable oil, ½ tsp black mustard seeds, 20 g date molasses, 2 tbsp white wine vinegar, Pinch of salt and ½ tsp caster or granulated sugar.
