Marcus Wareing served up a refreshing warming apple and spiced gin punch with brandy for the festive season on Marcus Wareing at Christmas.
The ingredients are: 1 litre cloudy apple juice, 50-75ml pomegranate juice, 2 cinnamon sticks, 4 cloves, 3 star anise, ½ nutmeg, finely grated, 50g demerara sugar (optional), 2 sprigs of pine, plus extra for garnish, 2 sprigs of rosemary, 1 lemon, 1 small orange, 100-150ml gin (to taste) and 100ml brandy (to taste).
