Marcus Wareing served up tasty pickled red cabbage slaw with star anise, ginger and cinnamon on Marcus Wareing at Christmas.
The ingredients are: ½ Red cabbage, finely chopped, 1 tsp table salt, 1 garlic clove, 4cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled and finely sliced, 2 Cinnamon sticks, 3 Star anise, 1 tbsp Gochugaru, 2 tbsp Red wine vinegar, 1 tbsp Soft Brown Sugar and 1 Orange, zest (and squeeze of juice).
