John Whaite Chicken Liver Pate with Melba Toast recipe on Steph’s Packed Lunch

John Whaite served up tasty Chicken Liver Pate with Melba Toast on Steph’s Packed Lunch.

The ingredients are: 250g unsalted butter, 400g chicken livers, trimmed and left whole, 2 cloves garlic, peeled and sliced, 2 sprigs of fresh thyme, leaves removed, 2 tbsp madeira, 75g unsalted butter, melted and clarified and 8 whole sprigs of thyme.

For the melba toast: 4 slices of wholemeal bread.
