Candice Brown served up a delicious festive pavlova with figs and blueberries on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The ingredients for the pavlova are: 300g golden caster sugar, ½ lemon, to wipe electric mixer bowl and whisk, 5 medium free range egg whites, at room temperature, ½ tsp cream of tartar, 1 tsp cornflour and Zest of 1 orange.
For the filling: 8 fresh figs, 4 tbsp honey, Juice of 1 orange, 200g pistachios, 400ml double cream, 1 tsp ground cinnamon, Handful blueberries, Handful cherries and Fresh mint leaves, to garnish.
