Si and Dave serve up profiteroles with two chocolate sauces on their Best of British food series.
The Bikers says: “Vanilla cream-filled profiteroles with a hot rich dark chocolate sauce or a creamy white chocolate sauce. Can’t decide which to have? Try both.”
The ingredients are: 50g butter, cut into cubes, 75g plain white flour, 1 tsp caster sugar, 2 medium free-range eggs, beaten and 1 tsp icing sugar.
For the vanilla cream: 350ml double cream, 1 tbsp caster sugar and ¼ tsp vanilla extract.
For the dark and white chocolate sauces, 100g white chocolate, broken into pieces, 75g plain, dark chocolate, broken into pieces and 250ml double cream.
