Big Has served up a tasty ‘Firinda Makarna’ beef with bechamel bake on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The ingredients: 2tbsp olive oil, 1.2kg beef mince, 800g white onion, peeled and diced, 2 bunches parsley stalks and all, roughly chopped leaves and stalks, 20g crushed black pepper, 1.2kg Bucatini pasta, 250g + 100g for the pasta of unsalted butter, 600g + 200g for scattering Helim cheese, or Halloumi, 200g plain flour, 2 litres full fat whole milk, 120g parmesan cheese, 150g kasar peynir, or any stringy cheese, 1 whole nutmeg, grated, 4 medium free-range eggs and Spicy Ketchup, to serve.
