Phil Vickery and Alison Hammond continue their discover of Brazil for the world cup. While Alison gest involved with music and culture, Phil samples the wonders of the Brazilian cuisine. Today the celebrity chef samples feijoada, Brazil’s national dish before serving up his own version with a few different ingredients.
Phil makes feijoada using: 1 x 400g tin of butter or cannelini beans, 2 small chopped onions, lightly fried, 200g pre cooked Andouille sausage, 6 cloves garlic crushed, Water or stock to cover and Juice half a large orange.
