Jamie Oliver served up a tasty cheat’s no-oven pizza with red pepper, carrot and onion on Jamie’s £1 Wonders.
The ingredients are: 250 g self-raising flour , plus extra for dusting, olive oil, 1 red onion, ½ a red pepper, ½ x 400g tin of chopped tomatoes, 50 g mature Cheddar cheese, ½ a butterhead or round lettuce, 1 carrot and red wine vinegar.

This recipe is really good and very easy to make. The only problem I had was not having a 30cm fry pan or a lid. My pan was 28cm dia but the base was only 21cm this made the pizza base far too thick. I used a round SS tray for a lid which kinda worked but not a great seal. I think a 30cm fry pan is pretty huge not sure how many family’s own one. Next time will try and make less dough, but I’m sure this would have been perfect if I had a lidded 30cm pan
