John Whaite served up a tasty chicken and sausage pie with cherry tomatoes and cheese on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The ingredients are: 300g cooked chicken, in pieces, 2 Cumberland sausages, finely sliced, 1 large onion, peeled and chopped, 2 garlic cloves, peeled and minced, 12 cherry tomatoes, halved, 1tsp Fine salt, 1tsp White pepper, 1 chicken stock pot, dissolved in 100ml hot water, 200g full-fat cream cheese, 100g mature cheddar cheese, grated, Handful fresh basil, roughly chopped, 320g packet ready-rolled puff pastry and 1 small egg, beaten, to glaze.
To serve: Green beans and steamed carrots (optional).
