Liam Charles banana split bubble waffles with Chantilly cream recipe on Junior Bake Off

Liam Charles showcased his delicious banana split bubble waffles with Chantilly cream and caramel filling on Junior Bake Off.

The ingredients for the bubble tacos are: 240g self-raising flour, 2 tbsp cornflour, 4 tbsp custard powder, 300g golden caster sugar, 4 large eggs, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, 100ml evaporated milk and greasing spray (for the bubble waffle machine).

For the caramel sauce: 190g caster sugar, 150ml double cream and 1 tsp vanilla bean paste.

For the caramelised bananas: 4 bananas and 50g demerara sugar.

For the Chantilly cream: 600ml double cream, 2 tbsp icing sugar and 1 tbsp vanilla bean paste.

For decoration: sprinkles and maraschino cherries.
