James Martin served up delicious Christmas buns with candied orange, pecans and cognac on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 625g strong white flour, plus extra for dusting, 1 tsp salt, 75g caster sugar, 10g fresh yeast and 375ml tepid water.
For the filling: 100g cream cheese, 100g candied oranges chopped, 2 oranges zest, 1 tsp ground cinnamon and 100g pecans chopped.
For the glaze: 100g caster sugar and 100ml water.
For the icing: 150g icing sugar and Splash of cognac.
