James Martin served up a delicious Coffee and Chocolate Cake with Candied Walnuts on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: 250g butter, 2 tbsp espresso coffee, 250g caster sugar, 5 eggs and 250g self-raising flour.
For the Icing: 400g butter, 1kg icing sugar, 1 tbsp espresso coffee and 1 tbsp cocoa powder.
For the Candied Walnuts: 200g caster sugar, splash of water, 100g walnut halves and Vegetable oil, for frying.
To serve: Chocolate curls and Crumbled walnuts.
