Nisha Katona served up a tasty spicy vegetable (meat-free) samosas tart with a green chutney on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 2 tbsp vegetable oil, 2 tsp panch phoron spice mix , 1 red onion, finely chopped, 2.5cm piece of fresh ginger, peeled and finely chopped, 150g cauliflower, chopped into small bite-size pieces, 100g potato, peeled and chopped into 1cm cubes, ½ tsp ground turmeric, 1 tsp salt, ½ tsp sugar, 100g frozen garden peas, 1x ready-rolled puff pastry sheet, Small bunch of fresh coriander/cilantro, stems and leaves finely chopped, 1 red chilli, finely sliced and Milk, for brushing.
For the Green Chutney: 1 small bunch of fresh coriander and stalks, roughly chopped , 1 small bunch of fresh mint , ¼ white onion, 2cm/ ¾ piece of fresh root ginger, peeled, 1 ¼ ground cumin , 1 tsp ground coriander , Juice of ½ lemon, ½ tsp salt and 3 tsp sugar.
