Candice Brown served up tasty sausage rolls with brie cheese, mushrooms, bacon and sage on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
The ingredients for the pastry are: 1 packet ready rolled puff pastry.
For the filling: 400g good-quality pork sausage meat, 100g smoked streaky bacon, finely chopped, Small bunch fresh sage, 1 tbsp finely chopped, 1 red onion, peeled and finely chopped, ½ tsp smoked paprika, 50g chestnut mushrooms, finely chopped, 200g Brie cut into cubes, 1tsp chopped garlic, Salt and freshly ground pepper, 1 medium free-range egg, beaten.
