John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up tasty French style pizza with tarte flambee and pissaladiere topping on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.
The ingredients for the Base are: 500g bread flour, 300 ml water, 1 sachet of instant yeast, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp salt and 100ml olive oil.
For the TARTE FLAMBÉE topping: 230g smoked streaky bacon, diced, 280ml creme fraiche, 4 banana shallots, sliced thinly and Ground black pepper.
For the PISSALADIÈRE topping: 60g butter , 1 kilo onions, sliced , Black olives, 2 tbsp red wine vinegar , 50g anchovies, in oil , 1 tbsp thyme, fresh or dried, Some olive oil , Salt and pepper.
