John Torode and Lisa Faulkner served up a delicious coconut and honey cake on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.
The ingredients are: 100g caster sugar, 4 eggs, 50ml light olive oil, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 100g semolina flour, 70g plain flour, 1 tsp baking powder, A pinch of salt and 50g desiccated coconut, plus extra to line the cake tin and top the cake mixture.
For the syrup: 150g caster sugar, 100g runny honey, 200ml water and 2 tsp vanilla extract.
Toasted coconut flakes, to garnish.
Coconut yoghurt, to serve.
