Lisa Faulkner and John Torode served up a tasty Cowboy Bean and Potato Waffle Pie on John and Lisa’s Weekend Kitchen.
The ingredients are: 2 tbsp olive oil, 1 red onion, finely sliced, 2 garlic clove, grated, 400g chopped tomatoes, 230g tomato salsa, 1 tsp hot smoked paprika, 400g kidney beans, drained and rinsed, 400g pinto beans, drained and rinsed (or use cannellini or haricot beans), 6 frozen potato waffles and 100g cheddar, grated.
