Irish lad Karl Brown made it through to the judge’s houses stage of this year’s X Factor. Karl, originally from Northern Ireland but currently lives in Yorkshire, impressed the judges with his performances at bootcamp. Well, two of the judges, Simon Cowell is unfortunately still not a fan.

After his final performance at bootcamp, Simon commented:
“The last time I saw him I felt he was not prepared for this. Unfortunately, I think the same thing again.”

The 19 year old part-time electrician displayed his styling by sporting a Panama hat and interestingly enough, different color shoes on each foot. See picture below – I wander if this will catch on.

Karl will now be mentored by Dannii Minogue in Melbourne Australia who will decided whether or not he goes through to the live shows.
