James Martin served up a sumptuous sticky toffee pudding with caramelised bananas, caramel sauce and clotted cream on This Morning.
The ingredients for the bananas: 3 bananas, sliced and 1 tbsp icing sugar.
For the sauce: 200ml double cream, 100g butter, 100g Muscovado sugar, 4 tbsp black treacle and 2 tbsp golden syrup.
For the pudding: 200g pitted dates, 290ml boiling water, 50g butter, 175g demerara sugar, 1 tbsp golden syrup, 2 eggs, 2 tbsp black treacle, 200g self raising flour, 1 tsp bicarb of soda and ½ tsp vanilla extract.
