Nisha Katona served up a tasty lamb jalfrezi winter curry with peppers and tomatoes on This Morning.
The ingredients are: 3 tbsp vegetable oil , 25g piece of fresh ginger, peeled and grated , 5 garlic cloves, peeled and minced , 2 white onions, finely diced , 2 large green pepper, deseeded and roughly chopped , 700g diced lamb leg , 2 tbsp garam masala, 1 tbsp cumin powder , 1 tsp ground turmeric , 3 bay leaves, 2 black cardamom pods, ½ tsp chilli powder , 400g tinned chopped tomatoes , 200ml water , 1 ½ tsp salt, or to taste , 1 heaped tsp sugar , 1 red pepper deseeded and roughly chopped and 1 large green chilli, deseeded and thinly sliced.

I liked it. I think the tomato paste made the sauce a little too sweet. But I’d make it again. Thank you
