Nadiya Hussain served up a tasty mac and cheese with cheese puffs, yeast extract and breadcrumbs on Nadiya’s Fast Flavours.
The ingredients for the macaroni cheese: 400g macaroni pasta, 30g unsalted butter, 3 tbsp plain flour (approx. 30g), 600ml full-fat milk, 170ml evaporated milk, 1 tsp yeast extract, 450g cheddar cheese, grated, 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 8 x 16.5g packs of cheese puffs (such as Wotsits), crushed into coarse crumbs.
For the topping: 50g breadcrumbs and 50g cheddar cheese, grated.
