James Martin served up delicious funnel cakes with sloe and gin compote on James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
The ingredients are: Vegetable oil for frying, 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp baking powder, 450g plain flour, 3 medium eggs, 4 tbs caster sugar, 450ml milk, 2 tbs gin and icing sugar to dust.
For the compote: 300g sloes, 4 tbs gin and 100g caster sugar.
