Gok Wan served up delicious doughnuts stuffed with pineapple jam and rolled in star anise and chilli on Gok Wan’s Easy Asian.
The ingredients are: 75g water, 60g butter, 250g strong flour, 60g sugar, 7g fast active yeast, 2 eggs and pinch of salt.
For the sugar coating: granulated sugar, ground star anise and chilli.
For the pineapple jam: fresh pineapple, small amount of water, a sprinkling of sugar.
(Cook for around 45 minutes).
