James Martin served up scrambled eggs with spinach, smoked salmon and crispy bacon and This Morning.

The ingredients: 5 large eggs, fresh, 25ml double cream, salt and pepper, 25g butter.

Serving suggestion 1 (optional): 1 bag baby spinach, wilted with a knob of butter, 4 slices smoked salmon, 4 crumpets, toasted or 2 slices of sourdough, toasted and sliced in half.

Serving suggestion 2 (optional): 4 slices crispy bacon drizzled in maple syrup, 4 crumpets, toasted or 2 slices of sourdough, toasted and sliced in half.
