Rick Stein continued his tour of India today on Saturday Kitchen Live and came across a delicious Indian dessert called Nimish.
Rick maintains that this is one of the best dishes he has had on his journey across the vast country and went back to his kitchen to make the dessert.
Rick says: “This is a light, set cream from Lucknow flavoured with saffron and rosewater – a typical sweet from the era of the Nawabs and their very inventive chefs. It is standard practice to present the nimish covered with silver leaf as well as pistachios.”
