Ainsley Harriott served up a delicious chocolate panettone bread and butter pudding with spiced cherry compote for Christmas on Ainsley’s Festive Food We Love.
The ingredients for the pudding are: 375g panettone, cut into 2 cm thick slices, 30g butter, 100g good quality dark chocolate, roughly chopped, 4 eggs, 30g caster sugar, 2-3 tablespoons Marsala wine of brandy, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 200ml double cream, 150ml milk, 1 tbsp demerara sugar and nutmeg, for grating.
