James Martin served up delicious festive mince pies with brandy, candied chestnuts and dried mulberries on This Morning.
The ingredients for the shortcrust pastry are: 400g plain flour, 200g butter, salt, 2 eggs and Water if needed.
For the filling: 500g mixture of raisins, currants and sultana, 85g dried cranberries, 85g dried mulberries, 85g dried grapes, 85g mixed peel, 150ml brandy, 175g suet, 100g fresh or frozen cranberry , roughly chopped, 200g soft brown sugar, 1 ½ tsp ground cinnamon and ½ tsp ground nutmeg.
To serve: Clotted cream.
